Otis Design Lab was hired to create an elegant and uplifting identity for the Japanese American National Museum's annual Benefit Gala. The design is intended to promote the future of the museum while celebrating Japanese-American history and culture.
The design concept utilizes the visual of tree rings to represent the expanding and connecting of generations. With a dynamic color palette that reflects JANM’s branding, this visual language also conveys harmony, community, and the union of cultures.
I developed iterations and executed final files for the Save-the-date postcard and logomark, then created storyboards and produced the accompanying motion graphic.
